When your training is not enough for the person in front of you

You can know your method well and still feel unsure when a client arrives with pain, fear, a complicated history, or needs that do not fit the standard class plan.

You may be wondering how to adapt your teaching for pregnancy, postpartum recovery, young bodies, athletic demands, chronic pain, or a room where every person seems to need something different.

You may be holding questions like:

- How do I support someone with chronic pain without overstepping my scope?
- What do I do when a client is resistant, anxious, demanding, or hard to read?
- How do I adapt classes for older adults, pregnancy, postpartum clients, teens and kids, athletes, injuries, hypermobility, fatigue, trauma histories, or mixed ability groups?
- How do I make my teaching feel clearer, safer, and more effective without becoming generic?
- How do I explain what I do in a way that helps the right people trust me?

This mentoring is for practitioners who want to think better, teach with more clarity, and become the person clients ask for by name.

What I can help with

Practical support for your teaching, clients, purpose, and professional direction.

Complex Clients + Special Populations

Build the confidence to adapt your teaching when the standard plan is not enough. We can look at chronic pain, nervous system sensitivity, injury rehab, chronic fatigue, autoimmune conditions, anxiety, depression, pregnancy, postpartum, teens and kids, athletes, older adults, hypermobility, and mixed-ability groups.

You will learn to make clearer decisions, hold steadier boundaries, and create classes, workshops, and 1:1 plans that meet the person in front of you.

Purpose, Mission + Your Unique Gifts

For the practitioner who knows there is something distinctive in their work, but cannot yet name it clearly. We can clarify what you are here to do, who you are best placed to serve, and how to bring your gifts forward through your teaching, niche, offers, and positioning.

This is support for the work you do and the practitioner you are becoming, so your practice can reflect your real gifts, support your life, and become unmistakably your own.

WHY CHOOSE THIS MENTORING

A mentor for the moments your method does not answer on its own

Good practitioners are shaped by more than technique. They are shaped by clinical reasoning, self-awareness, clear communication, and the ability to meet the person in front of them with skill and judgement.

This is a space to think through complex clients, mixed-need classes, difficult dynamics, and the next stage of your professional direction without adding more noise.

You bring the cases, questions, and ambitions you are carrying. Together, we clarify what is needed, what is not, and how you can work in a way that is more effective, more sustainable, and more true to you.

More than 20 years inside this work

I’ve spent more than two decades across movement, health, education, and practitioner development as a teacher, instructor trainer, mentor, studio owner, and leader.

I built and led six Pilates studios and two physiotherapy practices, trained and assessed practitioners through STOTT Pilates and Breathe Education, and later led the education and development of more than 100 instructors.

Alongside formal training in Pilates, movement, nutrition, human physiology, pain science, somatics, trauma-informed practice, hormone health, meditation, yoga, and Ayurveda, I help practitioners move from knowing the material to knowing how to work well with the person in front of them.

How private mentoring works

Private 1:1 mentoring for practitioners who want clearer judgement, stronger communication, and a more distinctive, sustainable practice.

1. Apply first

Start with a short application and share where your work feels complex, stuck, or ready to deepen.

2. We have a fit conversation

We look at your clients, the challenges you are meeting, and what support would genuinely help.

3. Support is shaped around your real work

If it is a good fit, the structure is tailored around your clients, teaching, purpose, and practice.

You get grounded support for clearer decisions, stronger boundaries, and work that becomes recognisably your own.

Apply to start the conversation

Private mentoring for practitioners ready to deepen their work.

If you want steadier judgement with complex clients, clearer communication, and a practice that reflects your real strengths, private mentoring offers a thoughtful place to work through what is challenging, clarify what is next, and strengthen how you teach.

Clearer judgement with complex clients

Work through the situations that are hardest to think clearly about on your own: persistent pain, conflicting needs, uncertainty about scope, and clients who do not respond to the usual plan.

You begin to second-guess yourself less, adapt with more confidence, and make steadier decisions in nuanced practice situations.

A more distinctive and referable practice

Clarify how to speak about your work, where your strengths are most useful, and what kinds of clients or complexities you are best placed to support.

Your practice becomes easier for clients, peers, and referrers to understand because the value of your work is more specific, more credible, and more clearly defined.

Stronger boundaries and a more sustainable way of working

Build clearer professional boundaries, communicate more cleanly, and shape your work in ways that are sustainable for both you and the people you support.

This is not about becoming harder. It is about working with more clarity, consistency, and integrity so your practice can deepen without draining you.
