Why the right sound changes everything.

When I first learned that I would be given a personal mantra,
chosen just for me—based on the time, place, and rhythm of my birth—
something in me softened.

It wasn’t just another tool.
It was a remembering.
A sound that had always belonged to me—
I had simply forgotten how to listen for it.

That’s what a mantra is in Vedic Meditation.
Not a word to repeat.
Not a chant to get “right.”
But a vibrational key,
rooted in ancient wisdom,

There’s no striving in this practice.
